FEATURED INSTRUCTOR: Guro Marc Denny of the Dog Brothers Martial Arts

WOOF! The Dog Brothers were originally started by Marc "Crafty Dog" Denny, Eric "Top Dog" Knaus (the group’s best fighter), and Arlan "Salty Dog" Sanford.  The group originally formed at the Inosanto Academy, a martial arts school in California owned and run by Dan Inosanto.

Marc is Guiding Force of the Dog Brothers and is the founder/head instructor of Dog Brother Martial Arts. He has studied the Filipino and other martial arts for over 30 years. He is a Guro under and a private student of martial arts legend Guro Dan Inosanto, and an instructor under the late Punong Guro Edgar Sulite.  He also has a brown belt under Rigan Machado in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and is a two time blue belt Gold Medalist at the Pan Am Games.

He is also propagating the system of “Dog Brothers Martial Arts, including its empty hand component “Kali Tudo” ™,  on a global scale and runs an annual competition called, "The Gathering," a full contact stick fighting event that is open to all Dog Brother Martial Artists and other Filipino Martial Arts styles.  Serious fighters attend "The Dog Brothers Gatherings of the Pack"  to test out their skills in real time combat that was turned down as a special event by the early UFC for being “just too extreme”.

Guro Marc is married with two children, and is the president of Dog Brothers, Inc. the legal vehicle through which the Dog Brothers Gatherings of the Pack are held and Dog Brothers Martial Arts is taught.
